Tomorrow it’s Hourly Comics Day but I’m going to be out pretty much the whole day
I know it’ll probably make for better content, but it’s going to make actually doing ‘em that much harder
I’ll have to find my sketchpad
I haven’t touched it in probably 6 months
But I’m an artist and one must suffer for one’s art, so it’s all right,...

losstopschade answered your question: Genuinely, does anyone know how I can make those…
They do work.
They do indeed work now! I changed the Theme, I think there must’ve been an error in the other one’s HTML
Or something
I don’t really know what I’m talking about, but it didn’t work, and this Theme does
spookysage replied to your post: I’m fiddling around with my blog theme but…
what about the other ctrl key? D;
No, that isn’t working either! Puzzling

Do you need awesome help? I am good with tumblr-themes.
Well, the only problem now is that the buttons at the bottom of the page don’t...

I’m fiddling around with my blog theme but it’s difficult
I spend so much time on this site, so it has to be The Perfect Theme
A lot of them are incredibly aesthetically pleasing, but harder to use than my previous theme, or they’re easy to use but dull to look at
So I’m in a QUANDARY
Also my Ctrl key appears to have stopped working so that’s annoying

Ben M. Baglio (b. 1960 in New York), created the brief for two series of children’s books - Dolphin Diaries and Animal Ark. Animal Ark features two children who work together to help animals and solve animal-related mysteries. The books were written by commissioned writers in the UK under Baglio’s instruction using the pseudonym Lucy Daniels. Each author is named with a ‘Special...

so around October someone’s gonna mail you a shiny new third Doctor serial and you’ll be all “nnooooo”, right?
Yeah pretty much
By October I will have made it difficult to buy any more DVDs without ruining my schedule, which is kind of a benefit? And kind of not, because I’ll never be able to...

My parakeet Sutekh the Destroyer quotes his namesake from Doctor Who “Pyramids of Mars” - here he says “Identify yourself, plaything of Sutekh” :)

I’d arrange your funeral. I’d make Paul McGann be there. We’d all dress as Doctors.
That’s exactly what I want from my funeral! Now I can rest in peace
(One last note: I want a wildly inappropriate, upbeat soundtrack at the after-party, but every five minutes or so it has to cut into the funeral...
Can’t get the smell of turpentine to go away
Getting a headache
A brief Google search has indicated that turpentine fumes are indeed slightly dangerous
Gonna have to freeze my posterior off with the window open all night
But in case that doesn’t work I expect you all to have some kind of period of mourning, where you all reflect on how cool I was, and how much Doctor Who...

I was jittery all day with my Intense Writerly Urge to write a horror story

Last month I wrote fifteen short stories what the hell is happening this month that’s so different

man I read Catcher in the Rye in high school and was like “what was the point of that why did I read it why was it written” 1984 is doubleplusgood though, have you read Animal Farm (same author) or Brave New World (a dystopia in the other direction)?
Yeah! I approached it expecting awe...
Anonymous asked: If you read Salinger's other works, his characters make a bit more sense. I liked Catcher least out of everything he's written, but I don't think you're supposed to find Holden likeable. He's the epitome of teenage self-centeredness and hypocrisy, but he's strangely relatable which IMO is what makes the book work as a coming of age story.

That is so groovy. and yes, i did not enjoy catcher in the rye either. I found him unlikable.
YES me too!
I don’t really know why
Some of the things he’s saying, I’m like, ‘yeah I get that! I relate’
But then a lot of the other things make me think he’s completely...

Also some HIGHLY EXCITING NEWS!!!!!!!!
BRACE YOURSELVES
For the first time in several years… I like books again
WHOAAA
You’d think the expensive Lit degree would’ve helped with that, but no, this only happened because I went “SCREW EVERYTHING” and started reading books that aren’t for my courses
I’m reading way more now, and having way more fun with...

Someone spilled a bottle of turpentine downstairs and I walked in it unknowingly, and then put my turps-soaked feet on my bed
Now my bed is giving off turpentine fumes
Which is great

Also there was this fella from the other class at our gallery trip today and I couldn’t make out his accent - it seemed to be Irish and Australian and English all at once
Afterwards my friend went “That guy was nice - who was he?”, and I went “I was going to ask you that”, so neither of us know, we’ve never even seen him around before
And, despite never having...

The main lesson this clear-out has taught me is that there is so much crap that I own that I don’t want to throw or give away, but that I have no use for at all now, so I’m just staring vaguely at it all
I’ve also progressed through my own faintly embarrassing past in leaps and bounds, via the wonder that is material goods
In other news, does anyone want 60+ books of assorted...

unrelatedly i was wondering how you felt about where our relationship’s going
I think it’s great that you want to spend so much time with my DVDs because I was worried they wouldn’t feel included in our mutual blog-ship! I am glad you brought this up, and am also glad that it is in no way...
I have to do a 10-hour shift at work tomorrow
I have a burning desire to glue a pair of headphones on and listen to ‘Zagreus’ two and a half times
I will still be able to do my job just as competently (it boils down to “yes you can have a return, here is your return, I will tidy your returned items away” or “no you can’t have a return, no you still can’t...
