While at the hairdresser I watched an interesting music video, or part of it. I will now attempt to relate what I think the story of that music video was.

There was some kind of horrible accident in a small mansion, which may also have been a hospital, or may have been turned into a makeshift hospital because of the accident. I don’t know. This accident gave some people super powers, so there were groups of people standing perfectly still and expressionless while basketballs flew around them in gentle orbits.

But the main characters, who also were involved in the unknown accident, were a pair of kids maybe 12-15 years old. One of them appeared uninjured and was taken away to be monitored. The other was… OK this is where it started to get really hard to follow, the other one was encased in a giant coffin-sized cake, and a man in a shirt and tie raised her out of the cake like a necromancer for cake people, a bakermancer if you will, and carried her outside and then just left her out there, cake-stained and looking peaky.

The first kid was MAJORLY CONCERNED for the fate of his cake-covered companion and sprinted out of the building, tearing away from medical staff and equipment, and through a crowd of policeman and people in haz-mat suits. The cake child had stopped to look at a large billboard advertising the cake she had been imprisoned inside, and she turned slowly to face the MAJORLY CONCERNED child who promptly gave her a big ol’ smooch.

Were they too young for such a dramatic smooch in front of all those embarrassed policemen? Probably. But it isn’t my primary concern.

My primary concern is whether this cake-coffin phenomenon is likely to strike elsewhere, and if it is, what our coalition government intends to do about it.
