there are a lot of posts around about the eighth Doctor today. it is good. because he is the best Doctor. if you travelled into every universe in the multiverse and studied all the variations of Doctor their versions of the show ‘Doctor Who’ have produced, this universe’s version of the eighth Doctor would be the best one overall. I know this because I did this research myself, personally.

Here you go, Eight fandom. I’m sure we’ll get a lot of use out of it. (Original gif by Harbek!)

FUCK YES.

Feel like using this every second of every minute of every hour

DW: Non-Stop Excitement by ~rachelroach

One of my favorite fan comics of all time.

“my real name is…. matt smith.”

the doctor takes off his jacket and bowtie to reveal his real self. he has been a human actor all along. the fourth wall is broken. the fandom is in chaos.

I’ve always felt that the Doctor would have a large conservatory stashed away somewhere. After all, he’s got to get his fresh fruits and veggies somewhere (but no pears, naturally)! The windows would filter out the harmful cosmic rays and only let in a reasonable amount of starlight, so one could sit in between the plants and gaze out upon a beautiful starscape (such as the 30 Doradus star-forming region of the Large Magellanic Cloud, pictured here).
(The conservatory is the MacMillan Bloedel Conservatory, photographed by Nathan Bauman. This is allowed under personal, noncommercial use. The Hubble Space Telescope photo of the 30 Doradus region is free for public usage.)

The Doctor: Better (and snarkier) than everyone else since 1963.
